Aracelys and her family have been sending clothes and toys to poor and orphaned children in the Dominican Republic (DR) since her son passed away.
Then in December 2007, the work of Precious Kids Ministries (PKM) began
when Aracelys and Cynthia went to the DR with bags full of clothes, toys, school supplies, and Bible class learning materials.

PKM sends clothes, shoes, age-appropriate Bibles and Bible school materials to:
* children in Santiago, the 2nd largest city in the DR
* children and families, who call themselves "Los Olvidados"- meaning "the forgotten", currently living in unfathomable conditions near Santiago's landfill/dump, Cienfuegos. These families derive their means for living and meager nutrition from the garbage in the landfill. PKM wants the children to know that they are not forgotten by their Creator, who loves them, and died for them.
